Gun Cart Build

After shooting in my first field target match this year and seeing the carts, cases and other devices everyone was using to get their gear from lane to lane I decided I needed some similar contraption.  I started looking online and found nothing that fit what I was looking for.  In my searches I came across several images of the carts that "cowboy action shooters" use and decided that something similar would suit my needs.  I wanted something that would hold all the gear of two shooters completing the typical air rifle field target shoot.  Also, I plan on using the cart to tote guns and supplies around the  range during my frequent training sessions.

Pictured here most recently at a field target match in Kalamazoo, Mi.  I have upgraded to pneumatic knobby tires.

I made the bottom from some pallet wood and 1/4" luan laminated together.

To hold everything together I used gorilla glue and my brad nailer.

I wanted to be able to take the cart apart for easy transport.

I used 4x4 pieces for my front legs and secured them using long screws and gorilla glue.  Then used the "L" brackets so the wood didn't get marred up.

Cutting the shaft for my wheels down to size.

Drilling 1/8" holes for the pins.

The mighty Steyr LG110 prevails!

Picked up this silencer from a guy in Poland....very impressed.  I am shooting at 20ft/Lb's and the loudest thing about this gun is the pellet hitting the target.  Ebay seller that I purchased the silencer from is here:  click here
